What is Breathe Hot Yoga?
Breathe Hot Yoga is a high-energy, uplifting series of classic Hatha yoga poses in a specific sequence that promotes balance, strength, flexibility, and overall wellness. The heat allows you to stretch deeply, cleanse the body and calm the mind. The body is detoxified and strengthened and your overall health and focus will be improved. The classic yoga postures coupled with hot temperature means that you will sweat a lot and burn more calories.
Toxins in our food and environment greatly contribute to premature aging, obesity, low energy levels, low immunity, depression, insomnia, lack of concentration and many other damaging conditions. Hot Yoga is preventative healthcare as it helps the body to flush out unwanted toxins through sweating and improves your immune system with improved circulation of oxygenated blood.
Hot Yoga is suitable for all ages and levels of fitness. Unlike other styles of yoga where it can take years to learn 100′s of poses, an effective hot yoga practice may only take a number of classes to gain sufficient familiarity and perfect conditions for deep learning. It is a moving meditation combining asana (postures), breath work and heat.

How does Breathe Hot Yoga work?
By the tourniquet effect: stretching, balancing (using gravity), and creating pressure all at the same time. The blood supply in arteries and veins is being cut off, creating pressure. When released, a lock gate effect is created, causing blood to rush through veins and arteries, flushing them out. Also, pressure is applied to the heart by its relative position to the rest of the body.
What are the benefits of the heat?
makes muscles more elastic and pliable which allows for deeper, safer stretching
helps you sweat; sweating detoxifies your body by flushing toxins from your blood and metabolic waste from your muscles
enhances vasodilation so that more blood (and oxygen) is delivered to the muscles, the joints, and the endocrine, thyroid and lymphatic systems bringing natural healing and balance back in to your body
speeds up the breakdown of glucose and fatty acids
thins the blood, increasing the heart rate for an excellent cardiovascular workout
